This is a famous first class Spanish vessel, the S. Felipe. She was first launched in 1690, the 104 gun ship with its high degree of ornamentation wich was fairly typical of the Spanish navy , of that period. A plank on frame construction, the kit contains:- Building plans with general details, English instructions, lost wax brass castings, walnut or lime planking, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, laser etched details, rigging cord.
